Thought for the Week . . .

When Joshua and the Children of Israel followed God’s direction; marched around the City of Jericho for seven days; had the priests blow their trumpets; and had the people shout with a loud voice; it must have seemed like the greatest victory the world had ever experienced when those walls came tumbling down.

But the Apostle Paul spoke of the greatest victory that was ever won when he spoke of the victory that came through Jesus Christ.  Paul tells us about that victory in Romans 8:37, he writes: “We are conquerors . . . (NO!)  “We are MORE THAN conquerors, through Him that loved us!”  Thank you Lord Jesus.
